During her final semester at Hampton University, Ukeme wrote, produced, interviewed, and hosted an episode of her podcast series, Access Denied: The Struggles Doulas Face. As part of the project, she interviewed Virginia State Senator Mamie E. Locke and created an accompanying photo essay, showcasing her strengths in multimedia storytelling across audio, photography, and long-form journalism.
